Sibling Support and the Importance of the Sibling Relationship
Sibling Support and the Importance of the Sibling Relationship: Presented by Katie Foley, Advocate for The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The sibling relationship is often the longest relationship a person with a disability will have. They are usually the people who will continue care after the parents have passed away. Yet siblings find little or no support throughout their lifetime. They find they have their own questions and concerns for the future, themselves and their siblings with a disability. This webinar will give an overview of that relationship and how we can help support and nurture the bond between siblings and encourage the advocates already in place inside the family.
